Rainfall in some areas came in at well over double that of a typical monsoon season, resulting in the worst flooding the area has seen in a century. Currently, an estimated 32 million people have been affected, with more than one million displaced and 400 dead. The floods have taken homes and crops, disrupted roads and transportation and have caused devastating landslides across the region, causing nearly $3 billion in damage. Our charity partners are on the ground providing food, water, shelter and creating child-friendly spaces for displaced children.
